Violations of Children’s Rights

Violations of Children’s Rights

Today in Andhra Pradesh, Most of the schools are getting recognition to run their schools in a way that is seemed to be possible only for the rich. According to the Govt. Order, every school in the towns and villages must have a play ground to be able the students to play. But now if we go through the schools in the cities, we are ended with the findings that many a schools lack not only a vast play ground but a100 sq yard place to conduct assembly. The students have the Right to Participation. When the management is collecting fees from the students, they must ensure that the minimum requirements for the students are met.
The management must be aware of the Rights of Children granted to them by the United Nations.
The government which sanctions the recognitions to the schools must be in full information regarding the infrastructure facilities, the schools have arranged for the successful running of the school. If it is found that the schools don’t meet the parameters put for them, it is the time to act. Govt. should initiate actions against the corrupted officials in the field of education.
Remember, Getting educated is the best insurance, a child can have.
With a hope..................Rights Point Team
